5fd2023708 feat(studio): worker detail page (FE-4189, FE-4197) (#49195)
## What

The worker detail page at `/project/[ref]/workers/[name]`, reading `GET
/v2/projects/{ref}/workers/{name}`. Base: #49194.

## How to test

Only on the **Mockamaster** project in staging — it is the one project
in the alpha allow-list.

1. Staging dashboard → Mockamaster → **Workers** → click
`dashboard-test`
2. Overview: instances read 1 declared / 1 live / 1 ready / 0 stale, no
error alerts
3. Settings: Deno 2, `denoland/deno:latest`, 2 GB · 1 vCPU, private, US
West (locked)
4. **How to call** in the header → the snippets name the real worker URL

No write actions. Delete (FE-4190) is deliberately out.

Closes FE-4189
Closes FE-4197

509d80c9eb feat(studio): CLI deploy instructions for workers (FE-4191) (#49194)
## What

The surface that shows you how to deploy a worker from the CLI, plus the
product rename and the alpha framing.

- **Compute → Workers.** `PRODUCT_NAME` and `CLI_NAME` now say `Workers`
/ `workers`, so the sidebar, page title, command menu, and every
generated snippet match the CLI. One name, not two.
- **`DeployWorkerDialog`** — scaffold / configure / push, with copyable
`supabase workers` and `config.toml` snippets
- **`WorkersEmptyState`** — an `EmptyStatePresentational` with a
permission-gated deploy action
- **`AlphaNotice`** on the list page, and a **New** badge on the sidebar
entry (`Route.isNew`)
- **`WorkerSnippetTabs`** — CLI, `config.toml`, and curl/JS/Python calls
built from one worker shape. Reused by #49195.

Snippet URLs resolve from the project's `app_config.endpoint`
(`https://<project>/workers/v1/<name>`, the same shape as
`/functions/v1/`), and fall back to `[YOUR WORKER URL]` before settings
load rather than printing a wrong host.

## How to test

Only on the **Mockamaster** project in staging — it is the one project
in the alpha allow-list.

1. Staging dashboard → Mockamaster → **Workers** (the sidebar entry
carries a **New** badge)
2. **Deploy a worker** → step through the tabs; every snippet should
name the real worker URL, not a placeholder
3. Copy the cURL snippet and run it: expect `401`. Reaching a deployed
worker needs a second allow-list (`WORKERS_ALLOWED_PROJECTS` in
api-gateway `customer-router/wrangler.toml`), separate from the flag
that unlocks the dashboard.
4. Open a project with no workers to see the empty state

## Tests

`workerSnippets.test.ts` covers the generated output users copy: worker
URL in all three call snippets, the `[YOUR WORKER URL]` fallback, anon
vs service-role placeholder, empty-name fallback and trimming, runtime
default, and every `config.toml` field.

## Unverified copy

The dialog steps and the `supabase workers ` subcommands come from
the original POC spec, not from the shipped CLI. Same for "Dockerfile,
Node.js and Deno supported" in the empty state — only Deno is confirmed
end to end. Worth a check by someone who knows the CLI surface.

Closes FE-4191

6c6ac567b1 feat(studio): workers list behind the workers flag (FE-4188) (#49193)
## What

The Workers list page at `/project/[ref]/workers`, behind
`useFlag('workers')`. Reads `GET /v2/projects/{ref}/workers`.

- Sidebar and command-menu entries, both hidden when the flag is off
- Name search, state and access filters, pagination
- Read-only

Gating, in order: flag off redirects to the project home; a 404 from the
API means the project is outside the alpha allow-list ("not enabled for
this project"); a 403 means the caller lacks the permission
(`NoPermission`); anything else is an `AlertError`.

`parseWorker` in `data/workers/workers.utils.ts` is the only place the
API shape becomes the view model. It validates with zod, so a drifted
response fails the query instead of half-rendering a row.

## How to test

Only on the **Mockamaster** project in staging — it is the one project
in the alpha allow-list, and standing a worker up anywhere else is
involved right now.

1. Staging dashboard → Mockamaster → **Compute** in the sidebar
2. Expect the `dashboard-test` worker: state `Active`, runtime Deno,
private, US West, 2 GB · 1 vCPU · 1 inst
3. Open any other project's `/workers` URL → "Compute is not enabled for
this project"
4. Turn the `workers` flag off → the sidebar entry disappears and the
URL redirects to the project home

73c9dbfa52 fix(studio): standardise custom icon weight (#48478)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

Bug fix and internal tooling update. Resolves FE-3472.

## What is the current behavior?

Custom Studio icons use inconsistent source stroke widths, and some
child-level styling prevents component props from overriding them. Mixed
custom and Lucide icon sets can therefore appear uneven.

## What is the new behavior?

Custom stroke icons use a root-level `stroke-width="1.5"`; fill-only
logos use `stroke="none"`. The build validates that contract and
regenerated components preserve existing exports and props.

Studio applies the same `1.5` weight across Reports categories and uses
one shared destination icon mapping in the replication selector,
destination rows and diagram.

## Testing

At 100% zoom, compare custom and Lucide icon weight in:

- Reports: **Add your first chart** and **Add block**
- Database > Replication: the destination selector, destination rows and
replication diagram
- Command menu (`⌘K`): **Search Database Tables**, **Search RLS
Policies**, **Search Edge Functions** and **Search Storage**
- Authentication > Users: right-click a user row and compare the
context-menu icons
- Database > Schema Visualizer: open a table node overflow menu
- A paused project: **Export your data > Download backups**

1b1b1ea0e0 chore: remove dead telemetry code (#47950)
## Summary
Removes two pieces of dead telemetry code found while root-causing the
docs pageview re-fire investigation (GROWTH-997, closed with no fix
needed). Pure deletion, 30 lines, no behavior change.

## Changes
- Delete `apps/www/app/ConsentWrapper.tsx`: an unwired third
`PageTelemetry` mount. www already mounts `PageTelemetry` in
`pages/_app.tsx` (Pages Router) and `app/providers.tsx` (App Router);
nothing imports this wrapper.
- Remove the exported `POSTHOG_URL` constant from
`apps/studio/lib/constants/index.ts`: zero consumers. The CSP allowlist
in `apps/studio/csp.ts` defines and uses its own local `POSTHOG_URL`,
which stays.

## Testing
Deadness verified before deletion, on current master:
- [x] Repo-wide grep for `ConsentWrapper`: only self-references inside
the deleted file
- [x] Repo-wide grep for `POSTHOG_URL`: remaining references are the
`csp.ts` local const only

## Linear
- fixes GROWTH-1002

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Bug Fixes**
* Removed an obsolete consent-related page wrapper to streamline page
behavior.
* Updated application configuration handling without changing existing
payment or usage settings.

* **Refactor**
* Simplified internal configuration and page composition while
preserving the existing user experience.

46b31eb53a [FE-3379] feat(studio): warn when db passwords need percent-encoding (#47564)
Users who set a database password with special characters (\`@\`, \`#\`,
\`%\`, \`+\`, etc.) get no warning that it must be percent-encoded when
used in a connection URL, which leads to confusing connection failures
([FE-3379](https://linear.app/supabase/issue/FE-3379)).

<img width="700" height="200" alt="Screenshot 2026-07-03 at 6 26 43 PM"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/48608d65-8057-4abe-96fc-c0ede3550951"
/>
<img width="1002" height="395" alt="Screenshot 2026-07-03 at 6 27 14 PM"

<img width="548" height="303" alt="Screenshot 2026-07-03 at 6 27 26 PM"
src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/b042101a-0e88-4730-adb8-1b490018f208"
/>

**Changed:**
- `PasswordStrengthBar` now shows a warning-colored callout (with a docs
link) whenever the entered password contains characters that need
percent-encoding — this covers project creation, reset database
password, restore-to-new-project, and the Vercel deploy-button flow
- Replaced `DATABASE_PASSWORD_REGEX` (only caught `@`, `:`, `/`) with a
`passwordNeedsPercentEncoding()` helper based on `encodeURIComponent`,
so `#`, `%`, `+`, `?`, `&`, spaces etc. are caught too
- Moved `SpecialSymbolsCallout` from `ProjectCreation/` to
`components/ui/` since it's now shared

**Added:**
- Info admonition in the Connect sheet next to connection strings that
still contain `[YOUR-PASSWORD]` (direct connection + `.env`-based file
setups; hidden for psql and .NET where percent-encoding doesn't apply,
and after a password reset since the substituted password is already
encoded)

## To test

- Project creation → type a password containing \`#\` or \`@\` → warning
callout appears above the strength bar; disappears for alphanumeric
passwords
- Database Settings → Reset database password → same behaviour
- Connect sheet → Direct connection → note shows under the connection
string for URI/JDBC types, not for psql; after resetting the password
from the sheet, the note disappears (password is substituted already
encoded)
- Connect sheet → Node.js/Python/Go/SQLAlchemy file setups show the
note; .NET does not
- \`pnpm vitest run lib/password-strength.test.ts\` passes

## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **New Features**
* Added a dedicated password encoding note (with documentation link) on
direct connection screens when the password is embedded in a URL.

9f7d300354 Check flags loaded before fetching region data (#47289)
## Context

Realised that we were calling both `useDefaultRegionQuery` and
`useOrganizationAvailableRegionsQuery` in the new project page.

`smartRegionEnabled` defaults to `false` at the beginning while the
flags are still being loaded, to this calls `useDefaultRegionQuery`. But
once the flags are loaded and `smartRegionEnabled` becomes `true`, then
the other hook is called

## Changes involved

- Checks that the flags are loaded first before calling either hooks to
prevent unnecessarily triggering both
- Adjust `defaultRegion` to remove hardcode
- Check smart region first, then default back to default specific region
  - Renamed variables to be clearer:
    - `autoDefaultRegion` (check based on location)
    - `fixedDefaultRegion` (hardcoded in repo)
- Update `useEffect` on `regionError` to only reset the region value if
the default value is not undefined
- Also just a tiny nit to re-arrange to group the `useEffects` together

<!-- This is an auto-generated comment: release notes by coderabbit.ai
-->
## Summary by CodeRabbit

* **Bug Fixes**
* Region selection now waits for feature flags to load before fetching
default and “smart” region options, preventing premature or incorrect
region choices.
* New project setup now updates the database region and smart
recommendations more consistently, with improved fallback behavior when
region lookup fails.
* AWS Nimbus default region is now environment-aware: non-prod uses
Southeast Asia, while prod uses East US.
* Default privilege settings now stay in sync more reliably during
setup, updating only when appropriate.

d8bb0ade65 feat(studio): add timezone picker to user dropdown (#45517)
## Problem

The dashboard renders all timestamps in the browser's local timezone.
When debugging app issues, users often want to see logs and timestamps
in a different timezone (e.g. their app's deployment region) without
changing their OS clock.

## Fix

- New Timezone submenu in the user-avatar dropdown, sitting next to the
existing Theme picker. Search-as-you-type combobox over the full IANA
catalog plus an Auto detect option.
- Selection persists in localStorage (`supabase-ui-timezone`) and
survives `clearLocalStorage()`. No backend schema change.
- New `lib/datetime.tsx` exposes pure timezone-aware formatters
(`formatDateTime`, `formatDate`, `formatTime`, `formatFromNow`,
`toTimezone`) plus a `TimezoneProvider` and matching React hooks
(`useTimezone`, `useFormatDateTime`, ...). The pure functions take `tz`
explicitly so they're easy to unit test (17 vitest cases covering DST
transitions, multi-tz formatting, unix-micro/Date inputs, invalid-tz
fallback).
- The selected timezone propagates to every existing `<TimestampInfo>`
in Studio via a new `TimestampInfoProvider` context exported from
`ui-patterns`. No per-callsite changes needed for those ~20+ surfaces.
- The `UnifiedLogs` date column migrates off `date-fns` to the new
`useFormatDateTime` hook (the rest of the date-fns callers stay as-is,
since they're either internal range math or non-display).
- `ALL_TIMEZONES` (~600 entries) moves out of `PITR.constants.ts` into a
shared `lib/constants/timezones.ts`. PITR keeps a re-export shim so its
callers don't move. New `TIMEZONES_BY_IANA` dedupes the catalog by
primary IANA name (the original list contains both PDT and PST rows for
`America/Los_Angeles`, etc.) and `findTimezoneByIana` provides reverse
lookup.
- Telemetry: `timezone_picker_clicked` PostHog event with
`previousTimezone`, `nextTimezone`, `isAutoDetected` properties.

Notes for reviewers:
- Bare `dayjs(x).format(...)` calls (~157 files) intentionally still
render in browser-local time. Surfaces opt in by switching to the new
wrappers, so this PR is the abstraction plus logs adoption; broader
migration is a follow-up.
- Two `// prettier-ignore` lines (`apps/studio/pages/_app.tsx`,
`apps/studio/components/interfaces/UnifiedLogs/UnifiedLogs.fields.tsx`)
work around a pre-existing local-tooling issue where
`prettier-plugin-sql-cst` strips angle-bracket type arguments under
certain conditions. Project's pinned prettier (3.8.1) does not strip;
the issue surfaces with a globally-installed prettier. Worth tracking
separately.
- Hydration: `guessLocalTimezone()` and `useLocalStorageQuery` are
client-only. Studio is mostly CSR via the Pages Router, but any SSR'd
`<TimestampInfo>` may briefly render in the server's tz before client
hydration. Existing behavior already had this mismatch with `.local()`;
this PR does not regress it.
- Backend timestamps round-tripped through query params and mutations
stay UTC. The picker is display-only.

## How to test

- Run `pnpm dev:studio`, sign in.
- Open the user avatar dropdown (top right). Hover Timezone.
- Search for "tokyo", pick `(UTC+09:00) Osaka, Sapporo, Tokyo`.
- Open any project, navigate to Logs (e.g. `Project > Logs > Edge
Functions`). Hover a log row's timestamp; the popover should show UTC,
the chosen tz (`Asia/Tokyo`), and the relative time. Visible cell text
should be in JST.
- Visit any page that uses `<TimestampInfo>` (Database > Backups,
Project Pause state, Edge Function details). Same tooltip should reflect
Asia/Tokyo.
- Refresh the page; timezone is still Asia/Tokyo.
- Reopen the picker, choose Auto detect; timestamps revert to browser
local.
- Run `pnpm --filter studio test lib/datetime.test.ts`. 17 tests should
pass.

1ab7251060 chore(studio): clarify partnered orgs and projects (#44328)
## What kind of change does this PR introduce?

UI improvements.

- Resolves DEPR-401
- Resolves DEPR-424
- Resolves DEPR-425

## What is the current behaviour?

Studio currently blurs two different concepts together:

- `billing_partner` / `billing_via_partner`, which represent real
billing ownership for marketplace-managed organisations such as AWS and
Vercel
- Stripe connection state, which is not actually partner billing in the
same sense, but was previously being mocked through the same UI paths

That made the Stripe work harder to reason about and left some local
behaviour dependent on temporary overrides rather than the API shape we
want to ship.

## What is the new behaviour?

This PR separates those concerns while keeping the existing AWS and
Vercel marketplace experience intact.

- AWS and Vercel continue to use `billing_partner` /
`billing_via_partner` for billing ownership, lockouts, and manage CTAs
- Stripe display state now comes from `integration_source`, which lets
Studio show Stripe-specific badges and alerts without treating Stripe as
a billing partner
- organisation-level partner UI is unified across AWS, Vercel, and
Stripe, including the org banner, navbar icon treatment, and
organisation cards
- project-level Stripe UI now appears only when the project itself is
marked as Stripe-connected, including the project switcher, project list
surfaces, and a project-level banner
- Stripe-connected organisations are no longer incorrectly blocked
behind the AWS/Vercel-style billing management alerts for invoices,
billing address, payment methods, or plan changes
- banner dismissal is scoped to the relevant org/project and
partner/integration state

## Review order

Most of the diff size here is regression tests and generated types. The
behavioural changes are concentrated in a smaller set of files.

Recommended review order:

1. `integration_source` vs `billing_partner` data-model split and
org/project query mapping
2. org-level UI: partner icon, org banner, org dropdown/card treatment
3. billing gating updates for Stripe vs AWS/Vercel
4. project-level Stripe UI: dropdown, list surfaces, banner
5. tests and generated types

This also removes the old Stripe mock override path in Studio so the
frontend matches the intended API model more closely.

## ~~Dependencies~~ (merged!)

This work depends on the private platform change that exposes
`integration_source` on the relevant organisation and project payloads:

_Update: now merged._

## Local testing

### Stripe

If you have the private `platform` repo checked out locally, make sure
your local API returns `integration_source: 'stripe_projects'`
consistently for the Stripe-linked org/project you are testing.

Important responses:

- `/platform/organizations`
- `/platform/organizations/:slug/projects`
- `/platform/projects/:ref`

Verify:

- org banner and org icon show the Stripe connected state
- unopened and opened project switcher both show Stripe only for
Stripe-linked projects
- project cards / table rows show the Stripe chip only for Stripe-linked
projects
- the project-level Stripe banner appears across project surfaces
- billing address, tax ID, invoices, payment methods, and plan changes
remain editable in Studio for Stripe orgs

### Vercel

Use a Vercel Marketplace org with real `billing_partner` /
`billing_via_partner` values.

Important org-level endpoints for local mocking in `platform`:

- `/platform/organizations`
- `/platform/organizations/:slug`
- `/platform/organizations/:slug/billing/subscription`

Project-level Vercel indicators still come from
`/platform/integrations/:slug`, not `integration_source`.

### AWS

Use an AWS Marketplace org with real `billing_partner` /
`billing_via_partner` values.

Important org-level endpoints for local mocking in `platform`:

- `/platform/organizations`
- `/platform/organizations/:slug`
- `/platform/organizations/:slug/billing/subscription`

AWS does not currently have a Stripe-like project-level indicator in
these org/project payloads.

## Notes

- `billing_partner` is no longer the right abstraction for the
Stripe-connected case in this PR. It remains the source of truth for
marketplace billing ownership, while Stripe currently uses
`integration_source` as a connection/display signal.
- I re-ran `pnpm api:codegen` while tightening this PR and kept only the
generated type changes this branch actually depends on, to avoid
unrelated API drift in the review.

e3e8528f72 feat: add client-side PostHog telemetry tracking (#37442)
Adds client-side PostHog tracking to run in parallel with server-side telemetry across studio, docs, and www. This enables session replays and resolves a race condition where page views arrive before group assignments resulting in attribution errors.

Changes:
- Created PostHog client wrapper with consent-aware initialization in common package
- Integrated PostHog client calls into existing telemetry functions to send events to both PostHog (client) and backend (server)
- Updated CSP to allow connections to PostHog endpoints
- Added environment variable support for all apps
- PostHog client accepts consent as a parameter and respects user preferences
- Events can be distinguished in PostHog by $lib property (posthog-js vs posthog-node)
- PostHog URL configured based on environment (staging/local uses ph.supabase.green)
- Maintains full backward compatibility with existing telemetry system

39cfcc742d Cleanup reports (#34015)
Removes a bunch of charts relying on daily data, that should not be relevant for users. Daily stats is a bad aggregation for users in itself, as the data is 24 hours or more delayed and not granular. Data from all removed charts are better looked at through logs (i.e. auth logs), as it can be aggregated and looked at in a more fine-granular way.
